The Distinguished Black Classical Excellence Awards honor the significant contributions of Black classical musicians, educators, and leaders who have paved the way for future generations. This inaugural event is a collaborative effort between the City of Tallahassee’s Department of Diversity and Inclusion and the Javacya Arts Conservatory. Together, we aim to celebrate excellence, inspire others, and continue the legacy of Black classical artistry.
