The Distinguished Awards is a three-day national event taking place in Tallahassee, Florida, during the Valentine's Day weekend. This event celebrates Black classical artists and educators. Each day includes professional sessions, special dining experiences, and a cultural outing, culminating in the main event: the 3rd Annual Distinguished Black Classical Excellence LIVE! Awards Presentation and Concert at Lee Hall Auditorium, Florida A&M University.

The evening features a Grammy-style, multi-genre show with performances by the Tallahassee Nights Live Band and Singers, the 24 Karat Gold Symphony, and the Javacya Elite Chamber Orchestra. This event honors artistic excellence while inspiring the next generation and offers an unforgettable way to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
